There are a myriad of ways one can learn to speak Spanish. As many ways as there are reasons to learn Spanish in the first place. One of the best ways I think to learn Spanish, or any language for that matter, is with a learn spanish CD. Having a complete Spanish instructional course on CD entails a number of benefits. First and foremost of these benefits, is convenience. With the proliferation of electronic devices these days, a CD can be used just about anywhere, or at anytime. Travelling on a bus, plane, train or car all provide time to learn Spanish. Whether it’s software or an audio file on your CD, travelling time can be put to better use by getting through a few more lessons, or learning a few more choice Spanish phrases.

Of the different types of Spanish CD’s available, my personal favourite is the software CD. Besides just listening to and repeating phrases from an audio only CD, a software CD provide many more opportunities for learning. I like to think of these opportunities as different pathways to the brain. We all learn differently, and any tool that uses a multi pronged approach to teaching will be more successful across a wider audience of people and their learning styles. Software does this in several creative ways.

A learn Spanish CD with software can teach through puzzles, games, and writing exercises as well as the traditional audio lessons. I’ve even seen software tutorials that teach Spanish by playing a clip from a popular Hollywood movie in Spanish with English subtitles to help students learn faster. One of my favourite movies actually. It was a steamy scene from Desperado staring Antonio Banderas, and Salma Hayek. Now, that’s what I mean by finding a different pathway to the brain. So, if you really want to learn Spanish, you want to do it in a way that gives you your best chance for success. A method that is fun, motivating, and appeals to the widest base of learning styles as possible. Learning Spanish from a CD does that in the most effective way possible. In addition, learning Spanish this way can be one of the most economical as well.

If you’ve never learned a new language, or have never tried this approach to learning, maybe it’s time to be a little adventurous, and go for something new. You have nothing to lose, and only a new language to gain.

If your reallying interested in learning Spanish, click learn spanish CD, and start learning Spanish the fun way.

It is a great feeling to relax in your favorite chair and just sit back and watch the NCAA tournament. The bad thing, however, is that some of us don’t have the pleasure of watching the NCAA tournament from the comfort of our home.

I am going to introduce to you a way that you can watch the NCAA tournament online and not lose a single play on any of the games that are shown. I found this great technology last year when I had to work all of the time during the NCAA tournament.

I was able to find a piece of software that allowed me to watch all of the games online while I was working on several projects at work. I did not have a strict boss, so I was allowed to watch the games online as I was doing my work.

You will need a couple of simple things that will allow you to do the same as I did last year to be able to watch the NCAA tournament online. The first thing is obvious, but you are going to need a computer. That is pretty much a given, but I needed to throw it out there anyway.

The next thing that you will need is an Internet connection. I would advise that it is a broadband connection via Cable, DSL, or other service. If you are not sure, it is easy to look at the back of your computer to see how you connect to the Internet. If you have a regular phone line attached to your computer and you hear a dialing sound when you connect, you do not have broadband. Anything other than the dial-up will work fine.

The only other thing that you will need is the software that will allow you to watch the NCAA tournament online. It is a piece of software that will interface you with thousands of TV stations online. You will get instant access to hundreds of sports stations that are going to be covering the NCAA tournament. You will also get access to hundreds of other TV and movie stations.

So, I want to go over really quick what you are going to need in order to watch the college basketball tournament online. First you need a computer that is connected to a broadband Internet connection. I use an old DSL line that I had installed over 4 years ago, and it works fine. The only other thing that you need is the software that will give you access to all of the sports and TV stations that you will ever need to watch the tournament online. There is a one-time fee of around $50 to get access, but there are no monthly charges and no hidden fees. Just a one-time payment of $50.

Nominated for 30 Emmys, including seven for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series, Star Trek: Voyager continues the rich tradition of the original 1960s Star Trek franchise. Created by former L.A. police officer Gene Roddenberry, the Star Trek TV series morphed into a franchise famous for the unprecedented fanatical devotion of its fan base. Lasting only three seasons during its original network run, Star Trek struck gold with its syndicated reruns, launching a number of motion pictures featuring the original cast as well as novels, comic books, collectibles, and reams of Star Trek-related memorabilia. The third spin-off from the original Star Trek series, Star Trek: Voyager premiered in January 1995 to modest critical acclaim, but experienced great success with television viewers, slowly increasing its ratings as the series progressed. Following on the heels of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), the series precedes Star Trek: Enterprise (2001) while boasting an all-star cast that includes veteran actress Kate Mulgrew (whose past TV appearances include such shows as Dallas, Cheers, and Murphy Brown). Yet instead of pursuing the classic Star Trek mission to “boldly go where no one has gone before,” Star Trek: Voyager is more about going where the crew has been before…

Star Trek: Voyager follows the exploits of the crew aboard the starship USS Voyager. As the series begins, the Voyager is on a Federation mission to capture a rogue ship of Maquis rebels (a race first introduced in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). While in pursuit of the Maquis, the Voyager enters a system known as the badlands, and both ships are instantaneously transported to the Delta Quadrant over seventy-thousand light years away on the outskirts of the galaxy. Soon, both the Maquis and the crew of Voyager learn they were brought to Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker, a mysterious force overseeing the safety of the Ocampan race who live in the shadow on an impending threat from the vicious Kazon. When the Kazon destroy the Maquis ship, the Voyager crew merges with the Maquis crew to defend themselves from the Kazon. Having destroyed the device which could bring them home, the crew of the Voyager - led by Capt. Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), and the crew of the Maquis ship - led by Commander Chakotay (Robert Beltran), must work as a united front in order to meet their mutual goal of finding a way home…

The Star Trek: Voyager (Season 3) DVD features a number of exciting episodes including the season premiere “Basics” in which the crew must get “back to basics” when the Kazon take possession of the Voyager and abandon the crew on an infant planet gripped in the earliest stages of evolutionary process. Only Tom Paris and Lon Suder manage to evade capture, and the fate of the entire Voyager crew rests on their ability to devise a plan for retaking the ship… Other notable episodes from Season 3 include “Warlord” in which the dying alien Tieran manages to teleport his conscious mind into the body of a Voyager crewmember and use his host in order to return to his home planet where he is attempting a takeover, and “Favorite Son” in which a Voyager rendezvous with an unexplored region of space leads Harry Kim to the discovery of his true biological bloodline…

Iron Man: 8.5 out of 10!

With the summer release of “Iron Man”, the screen adaptation of the Iron Man comics, director Jon Favreau brings to us yet another incarnation of a superhero from the Marvel Comics fraternity. However, in the wake of already existing ‘onscreen marvel superheroes’ like Spider-Man, X-Men, The Hulk, Daredevil, etc. the Iron Man movie manages to create quite a following among fans and critics alike. The movie manages to gather its strength mainly due to a matured treatment of a script which is both strong and tight, if not multi-layered.

The story revolves around a wealthy businessman and techie genius Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) running a modern warfare conglomerate in partnership with the malicious Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges). Stark, in a business trip to Afghanistan, is compelled to construct a “Jericho Missile” for a group of terrorists. When he finally manages to elude them and escape back home, he decides to utilize the idea with the objective of launching a moral crusade against all evil and crime and finally vanquishes his nemesis, the wicked Iron Monger, an alter ego of Stane.

Though the story may sound familiar, director Jon Favreau manages to attract the audience equipped mainly with a bevy of special effects which was chiefly done by ILM of the “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” fame. It can be said that they have done a commendable job especially in the transitions between the real and the CG costumes. However, it is the directorial skills that one has to watch out for. It can be easily said that Favreau has come a long way from his “Zathura”, “Elf” or “Made” days. As for the soundtrack, Tom Morello’s (Rage Against The Machine) guitar section deserves special mention.

The acting performances, though often sidelined in these kinds of ventures, have still contributed to the success of Iron Man. Among the main characters Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrence Howard are all quite convincing. However the real treat in the movie comes from the veteran Jeff Bridges. Delivering an almost deliciously evil performance, Bridges has done everything that Kevin Spacey couldn’t do in the 2006 Superman venture.
